MONTAGUE, Mich. — Fall color is reaching its peak right about now and there’s nothing like a ride through the woods or a trip to the pumpkin patch to celebrate all that a Michigan fall has to offer.
Visit Weesies Brothers in Montague and introduce your children to Spookley the Square Pumpkin, whose story of friendship and lesson about bullying is just right for children in preschool through third grade.
There are plenty of activities for children of all ages. The whole family can ride the Pumpkin Express down to the pumpkin patch where you can pick your own pumpkin to take home. Maybe you’d enjoy a ride through the Timber Trails in an enclosed wagon or let the little ones ride the Barrel Train.
There’s a Weesiesville Playground and Spookley’s Maze, which shares the story of Spookley as children work their way through the maze. While you’re there, don’t forget to stock up on the season’s most beautiful mums and other fall finery.
