GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan — As an architect, Wayne Visbeen is used to thinking of the details.
"When I work with a with a client, I learned about their entire lifestyle," Visbeen said. "How they sleep, how they live, what they do when they wake up. Do they get coffee? First thing? Do they want to just sit and relax?"
These are the questions he asks clients while he sketches a design for their dream house on the spot.
"Do they walk to the kitchen? What kind of coffee do they drink? How's the coffee station look? Are they left handed or right handed?" Visbeen said.
That attention to detail has gotten the attention of some big clients, including celebrities Martha Stewart and Steph Curry.
But designing a home at that scale is no small task.
That's why his new social media series is giving people a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes by designing a hypothetical home for a celeb power couple: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
"It's not like I'm trying to get Travis and Taylor's home," Visbeen said. "Although, if that was an outcrop of this fun, that wouldn't be all bad."
The mock-up estate would include a theater, a spa, a wine cellar and two trophy rooms — one for each of the award-winning celebs.
Swift's three cats—Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson and Benjamin Button—would have their own playroom.
"I care about the cats because they care about the cats," Visbeen said. "When you're designing a custom luxury home, you think about all the things that make the owner happy."
Visbeen's talents aren't just for celebrities.
"We work on homes that are 500 square feet that are very humble, all the way up to $50 million estates that we've done to date," Visbeen said.
He's worked with clients of all backgrounds and even worked on the TLC show "Playhouse Masters."
"I love every project, coming up with the unique things that make somebody look at me like, 'I can't believe you came up with that,'" Visbeen said.
