Pet parents know that warmer weather -- especially this time of year -- means it's time to keep an eye out for fleas and ticks.
These small insects can be hard to spot and if left untreated, can not only be a pain to get rid of, but can cause some health problems for your pets.
Tonya Christiansen from Must Love Dogs Boutique & Spa in Grand Haven joined WZZM 13's Morning News team to share some natural remedies for flea and tick prevention and treatment.
Christiansen says that the use of goats milk to build a strong immune system and natural supplements including topical products such as a lemongrass flea and tick spray that help repeal biting insects.
