Hospice of Michigan awarded large grant to study caregiver burnout

For 40 years, Hospice of Michigan has been committed to the mission of providing quality end-of-life care for all regardless of age, diagnosis, or ability to pay.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — It takes a special person to engage with patients and families at a time like that and the work can definitely take a toll, both emotionally and physically. The non-profit organization has been awarded a $500,000 grant from the Michigan Health Endowment Fund and will participate in a study to ultimately reduce caregiver burnout in the hospice and palliative care industry.  For more information, call 888-247-5701 or visit www.hom.org.
