GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — If you're wanting to sample the best food trucks Michigan has to offer, head to Calder Plaza this weekend—and make sure you've got an empty stomach. The annual Grand Rapids Foodie Fest is back!
The three-day event will feature dozens of food trucks ranging from classic barbecue to desserts to cuisines from around the globe. While some vendors will be local, others will be coming in from all over Michigan.
The family-friendly festival will will also have live music and performances from local artists, games and vendor booths.
The Grand Rapids Foodie Fest is organized by the Where AT Foundation, which aims to highlight local restaurants and food trucks in Grand Rapids. The foundation also hosts the Tri-State Foodie Fest at the Calhoun County Fairgrounds each year.
There is no admission, and prices for food items will vary depending on the food truck.
The festival is open from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, July 5; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 6; and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 7.
