GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Downtown Grand Rapids will be a little less jolly this holiday season.
The Grand Rapids Junior Chamber announced their canceling the Santa Parade scheduled for November this year.
They had to call off the annual holiday parade due to "recent unplanned leadership changeover and chapter capacity constraints."
The organization said this caused a significant challenge in organizing and executing the event at their high standards.
