GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) of Helen DeVos Children's Hospital had an "egg-cellent" Good Friday celebrating Easter with their families.
Helen DeVos shared photos of babies in the NICU dressed up as Easter Eggs for the holiday.
The hospital shared photos of the babies on their Facebook page Friday.
Families of the newborns were given felt eggs to decorate by the staff and the results were nothing short of adorable.

Some of the parents shared messages about their newborn's costumes in the hospital's Facebook post:
Bryn's egg had bees and daisies on it. "We call her little B," Bryn's Mom Renee said.
Big brother Reid wanted Zoe's egg to have as many spring-themed stickers on it as possible.
Marlee's purple egg was cute and filled with significant meaning. The sweet blue bird represents her twin Jaycee who passed. "The big egg on the bottom represents Marlee and the small egg represents Jaycee," their Mom said.
Helen DeVos also thanked workers Gay Sexton, Theresa Hartl and Amy Nyberg for making it all happen.
