GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Mel Trotter Ministries is serving up quite the feast this Thanksgiving.
This afternoon, over 2,000 meals will be provided for community members in Grand Rapids at the Devos Place.
More than 500 volunteers will be serving:
180 Turkeys provided by The Gilmore Collection
2,400 Pounds of potatoes provided by Noco Provisions
3,000 Dinner rolls
240 Pounds of stuffing
700 Pounds of green beans
700 Pounds of candied carrots
60 Gallons of gravy, The Gilmore Collection.
Meals will be served at 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the DeVos Place.
The Rapid will provide free shuttle service to-and-from DeVos Place for the community meal.
Free coats will also be provided for those in need of winter clothes this season.
