GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Meet Genie! This very good boy is about one and a half years old and is ready to have a family of his own.
He's a handsome one with gorgeous gray and white spots. He can be described as a furry ball of happiness.
Genie came to the Humane Society of West Michigan as a stray, so very little is known about his history.
However, since arriving at the shelter, staff said Genie has been incredibly sweet and friendly and loves to give kisses.
This adorable "house hippo" is very tolerant and enjoys meeting new people. He is great with other dogs and could be introduced to cats and older children.
Shelter staff said he is very versatile. While he has a lot of energy, he also really likes sitting on all the soft surfaces inside a home.
They said Genie has "cat-like" characteristics such as snuggling behind you on the couch.
Genie visited the 13 ON YOUR SIDE set on Sunday morning, Aug. 4. where he was was very laid back.
Shelter staff said he requires a head massage before bedtime from his forever family.
