ANN ARBOR, Mich. - A couple years ago a Newfoundland mix wandered a Cascade Township neighborhood for weeks. These day, the animal rescue where he lives says he's doing much better.
Back in 2015, a neighborhood in Cascade Township nicknamed the feral dog 'Shaggy.' He wandered around weeks, avoiding capture. His previous family even stepped forward to tell how he wandered off.
Eventually he was caught by an animal rescue called the Devoted Barn -- located near Ann Arbor. Shaggy has been there ever since.
On Wednesday evening, the animal rescue shared a heartwarming video of Shaggy getting a haircut. Staff says the feral dog has come a long way and he's doing great.
