Stanley the cat has found his forever home.

Stanley, a black cat found last month in Redford yard with parts of his ears and tail chopped off, has been recooperating at the Michigan Humane Society’s Berman Center for Animal Care in Westland.

The Michigan Humane Society today announced that a Rebekah and Andrew Sellers of St. Clair Shores have adopted Stanley.

The reward for tips leading to a conviction in this case is now $7,500.

The Michigan Humane Society is asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAKUP.
