Businesses that are Good For Grand Rapids were honored Thursday, March 8 at a celebration of the same name.
Good For Grand Rapids launched last year and recognizes companies in the city that use their business to create jobs, stronger communities and a healthier region.
The businesses take a Quick Impact Assessment. What that does, is measure the benefit to employees, the community and the environmental impact. Out of 70 businesses that took the assessment eight were given awards.
Mayor Rosalyn Bliss was at the event.
