ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Evergreen Golf Course is closing on Tuesday, Oct. 16 after being open for business for 18 years.
Brent Fredericks built the 18-hole course on Osborn Street in Robinson Township in the year 2000. But he said now he wants to spend more time with family in Colorado.
The sale of the property is expected to be completed on Friday.
Fredericks is not sure what the new owners have planned for the property.
The Detroit Free Press reports that about 200 Michigan golf courses have closed in the past 20 years.
