CEDAR SPRINGS, Mich. — A brand new dog daycare facility is coming to Cedar Springs. Petz Prefurred will host its ground breaking ceremony and celebration on Tuesday, July 16 at 11:00 a.m.

The event will be held at the facility's future location, 14175 Edgerton Ave NE in Cedar Springs. The owners and project team will be unveiling project information, a timeline for the construction and "unique features of the building."

In attendance will be Petz Prefurred stakeholders, Quest Design Build, Andrus Architecture, Cedar Springs Mayor Liza Atchison and community members.

The facility will be available for daycare, boarding and grooming once open.

"We offer a fun, safe and secure environment with trained staff that are dedicated to the service and care of you and your furry friend," they said in a release.

Beyond just providing your furry friend with a place to go, they'll also have indoor and outdoor play areas, comfortable and secure boarding rooms and a variety of spa packages to ensure your pet is not just safe, but is able to relax during their brief or extended stay. They are hoping to open in the fall of 2024.
