Michigan's Adventure hiring 1,100 seasonal workers

Cedar Fair announced openings for over 8,000 season workers at their Michigan's Adventure and Cedar Point amusement parks.

SANDUSKY, Ohio — Michigan's Adventure is hiring over a thousand seasonal workers as they prepare to open for the 2023 season.

Cedar Fair, the company that owns Michigan's Adventure, is hosting a four-day hiring event for anyone over the age of 15 and interested in working at the park.

The event will take place in-person at Michigan's Adventure on Feb. 21-24 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day.

Michigan's Adventure is hiring 1,100 people to work in food and beverage, aquatics, security, rides and more.

During the hiring event, people can apply, interview and receive an offer for a job in the same day.

Employees over the age of 18 earn $16.50 an hour and pay varies for employees between the ages of 15 and 17.

Employees are also paid for their training, receive free admission to all Cedar Fair parks, receive free tickets for family and friends, enjoy discounts at the parks and participate in employee-only ride nights and free food events.

And if you are interested at working at Cedar Point, they are also holding a week-long hiring event from Saturday, Feb. 18 through Friday, Feb. 24. The park is hiring 7,000 seasonal workers.
