GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Last week, the My West Michigan crew stopped by Binder Park Zoo to get a tour and see what all the massive, extravagant park has to offer.
Binder Park Zoo has come to us today and brought along their Animal Ambassador to teach us about their educational program, Overnight Safari, Zoo Snooze and birthday parties they are able to host.
Guest can participate in explorations of the wonders of wildlife and conservation through interactive age appropriate programming.
Binder Park Zoo is dedicated to creating experiences that give a sense of wonder, share knowledge, and advocate active involvement with wildlife and wild places. The programs are open for groups and individuals ages 18 months and up.
Some of the educational programs include:
- BIG Zoo Lesson
- Birthday parties
- F.A.W.N. Playgroup
- Family Slumber Party
- Wild Walks/Wild Encounters
Another amazing part of Binder Park Zoo is their Overnight Safari.
They have four unique topics to choose from, or we can create a custom program just for you.
Every overnight includes live animal presentations, fun games and activities, and a night hike! When the night ends, kick back and relax in a tent overlooking the savanna exhibit.
Dinner, a snack, breakfast, and admission to the zoo the following day are also included in the price. All participants are for ages 6 and up.
