Long-time journalist an ABC News commentator Cokie Roberts was in Grand Rapids today.
On this Republican presidential race few predicted even just recently, she said:
"You know, if you had predicted six months ago that the three leading Republican candidates would be Cruz, Trump and Kasich, everybody would have thought you were crazy," Roberts said. "And that the $130 million spent by the Bush super PACs got him about 2 percent of the vote, would have been unpredictable."
Roberts was the keynote speaker at the "Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation's Luncheon," which remembers former first lady Betty Ford on her 98th birthday.
