GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Only three days left until Christmas Day, and some people are still shopping for last-minute gifts.
“I am at this outlet shopping for myself,” said Denise Dickey.
Families and friends grabbing last-minute deals today to put under the Christmas tree.
One shopper brought his puppy to perform some tricks while others took family photos. Almost everyone was enjoying the warm December weather.
Jesse Imhoff, General Manager with Tanger Outlets, said they have something for everyone and plenty of deals too good to pass up.
“We've got some really fantastic deals going on at a lot of our stores," said Imhoff. "You've got 50 to 60% off going on at Under Armour, you've got up to 60% off at Old Navy, Nike is doing 30% off of the clearance stuff there. You've got 70% off at like Vera Bradley and Coach.”
Customers enjoying traditional holiday music, a decked-out Christmas tree and even a cozy fireplace putting everyone in the holiday shopping spirit. With Christmas just three days away, one shopper said it’s always a last-minute shopping spree for her.
“The last minute because I’m always busy," said Nichole Jordan. "I’m always doing something. I never really take time out to just do normal stuff, so this to me was just the perfect time to kind of the get some last-minute shopping in.”
Many shoppers are hoping to find that perfect gift that will make Christmas morning extra special.
“Trying to find like the perfect gift for my husband,” Jordan said. "You know, just trying to find the perfect gift and just imagining the expression on his face when he opens it.”
Jordan was not willing to spoil the surprise for us, thinking her husband might be watching the news.
“I can't tell you because if he sees this, he’ll know what it is. but it's something that he doesn’t have, but he’ll love it I’ll tell you that much,” Jordan said.
The outlet mall has deals going on all the way up until Saturday and will be closed on Christmas Day.
