On Labor Day, drivers were asked to avoid Northbound US-131 near Wealthy Street in Grand Rapids for almost two hours.
First responders were at the scene of a crash involving multiple vehicles, working to clear it.
The crash happened around 5 p.m. Monday and the roadway didn't fully reopen until just before 7 p.m.
According to a 13 ON YOUR SIDE crew on scene, it appeared a truck hauling a camper trailer crashed, causing significant damage to the trailer.
Grand Rapids firefighters said all northbound lanes of the highway were shut down due to debris in the roadway and for the safety of the first responders.
It is not clear if anyone was hurt in the crash.
