KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Police were called to an apartment building on Colgrove Ave. Friday, after receiving reports of shots fired. When they arrived, they found a 22-year-old man with a gunshot wound.
Police say life-saving measures were performed before the man was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
While investigating, officers say they learned of a 48-year-old woman who arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound. She's being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
It's unclear if the incidents are related.
Police say the investigation reveals this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
