MECOSTA COUNTY, Mich. — Deputies with the Mecosta County Sheriff's Office along with Michigan State Police troopers responded to a report of shots fired at a Deerfield Twp. home Wednesday night.

When authorities arrived on scene they learned that the suspect, 18-year-old Allen David Kuhn, had what authorities believe was a 22LR handgun. Police said he had fired the weapon at his stepfather.

By the time law enforcement arrived at the home Kuhn had already fled the scene. They searched the area for him but were unable to locate him. He was still at large as of 8:00 p.m. Thursday.

Police are considering Kuhn "armed and dangerous," and he has multiple felony warrants out for his arrest.
