MECOSTA COUNTY, Mich. — Multiple car break-ins were reported to the Mecosta County Sheriff's Office starting Tuesday night and lasting through Wednesday morning.

The break-ins happened between Deerfield and Morton Townships, MCSO says.

MSCO is asking for help identifying a person of interest who was caught on security cameras near the break-ins.

Investigators believe that these break-ins are related to a similar incident that took place on Thursday, Nov. 16 on Main Street in the Village of Mecosta. In that incident, the person of interest was caught on camera with a blue bike.

MSCO is asking for anyone with information to contact the Mecosta County Sheriff's Office at (231) 592-0150 or tips@mecostasheriff.org.
