Deputies investigating break-ins at Kent Co. homes

ID=13963393GRAND RAPIDS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- Kent County deputies are investigating a break-in at a Grand Rapids Township home.

Someone kicked open a rear door at a home in the 1600 block of Flowers Mill Dr. some time between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday. The burglar took jewelry and cash before leaving through the front door.

This break-in follows recent ones in Cascade Township in the last few weeks. Someone kicked open a door at a home in the 2400 block of Patterson and stole jewelry. Jewelry was also stolen at a home in the 5700 block of Manchester Hills, where someone had forced open a sliding door. Those break-ins also happened during daytime hours.
