HOLLAND, Mich. — The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect in an alleged robbery at Oasis Mobile Mart on Adams St. Deputies say the man poured a cup of coffee, brought it up to the counter, was told the purchase price, then threw the coffee in an employee's face. After that, he grabbed the cash drawer and left the building.
Deputies say it happened just before 1 a.m. on Christmas. They are looking for a man, possibly in his mid-20s with a thin build. They say he was described as wearing a ball cap and a face mask.
Deputies also tell us the employee sustained burns on her chest and neck, and was treated by medical personnel at the scene.
The case remains under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to call the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office, or Silent Observer at 877-887-4536.
