KENTWOOD, Mich. — A father is facing assault and resisting arrest charges after allegedly stabbing his adult child while at a business in Kentwood.
Jesse Solis III, 57, is charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm and resisting and obstructing.
The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10 when the Kentwood Police Department responded to the report of a stabbing on the 3000 block of Shaffer Avenue in Kentwood.
Police found Solis' 20-year-old child with non life-threatening injuries at the scene.
Solis was taken into custody a short time later near the business. He was arraigned on the two charges and is in custody with a bond set at $25,000 10%.
