GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A teenager is accused of wounding a man in a shooting earlier this month.

The Grand Rapids Police Department announced that 16-year-old Cartiyae Pascal is facing assault with intent to murder and felony weapons charges.

On Sept. 1, someone called police about a shooting in the 1700 block of Madison Ave. SE. Officers didn't find any victims there, but a man showed up at an area hospital with multiple gunshot wounds in critical condition.

Authorities are still working to learn more about what happened and ask those with information to reach out to the Grand Rapids Police Department or Silent Observer.
