OTSEGO, Mich. — An Otsego man is dead on Friday evening after what police believe was a fatal stabbing.
Around 5:40 p.m. Allegan County Dispatch received a call from a woman who needed emergency help at an apartment complex in the 400 block of Garfield Street.
The Otsego Police Department and the Allegan County Sheriff's Office were sent to the scene.
When they arrived, they said they found a 24-year-old woman with a 51-year-old man who was bleeding on the living room floor.
Police said they attempted life-saving measures on the man, who appeared to have been stabbed, but he died from his injuries.
The Michigan State Police Crime Scene Response Team also came to the scene to help gather evidence.
