Police in Newaygo County say they have made an arrest after a man was found dead in the woods in near White Cloud.
The suspect is expected to be arraigned Tuesday, Aug. 8, in the 78th District Court.
The investigation started after deputies were called to an area within Crystal Trails between 20th and 28th Streets just after 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5.
The victim, who family identified as 28-year-old D'Anthony Keenan, of Muskegon, was already dead when deputies arrived.
The sheriff’s office is asking for help from those who may have trail cameras in the area. They're interested in footage recorded between Friday, Aug. 4, and Saturday, Aug. 5.
Authorities found Keenan's white Chevy Tahoe on Monday, Aug. 7 in Manistee National Forest at the carpool lot just outside of Fremont -- which is about halfway between his home in Muskegon and where his body was found near White Cloud.
