4 people injured in Kalamazoo shooting

KDPS is investigating the incident and did not have very many details to share yet. However, they did confirm that four people were injured.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) is asking people to avoid the 4200 block of W. Main Street after there was a shooting at a Little Caesars restaurant in the area.

KDPS is investigating the incident and did not have very many details to share yet. However, they did confirm that four people were injured.

They said all injuries were considered non-life-threatening.

Authorities also shared that the suspect is no longer on scene. They did not share any further information about the suspect except to say that the incident was not a random act of violence but was between two individuals who knew eachother.

Roads reopened around 7 p.m.
