WALKER, Mich. — Four teenagers were arrested overnight Tuesday following a police chase that spanned several counties.
Ottawa County Central Dispatch said the truck used in the chase was reported stolen out of Hudsonville just before midnight Monday.
The Michigan State Police said the suspects drove into Muskegon County before turning around back into Ottawa County and driving into Kent County. The chase came to an end around 1:30 a.m. after Walker police deployed stop sticks.
A 13 ON YOUR SIDE crew saw the truck surrounded by Michigan State Police and Walker Police on 3 Mile Road NW just off the eastbound I-96 off ramp at the Alpine Avenue exit.
Four teens between the ages of 13 and 17 attempted to run from the scene but were taken into custody, according to Michigan State Police.
The truck also had at least one tire that had blown out, completely exposing the rim.
It's unclear if anyone was injured during the pursuit.
