An armed and dangerous suspect involved in the shooting deaths of two men in Benton Harbor is being sought by police.
It happened during the early morning hours Sunday, officers from the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety responded to 996 LaVette on reports of a shooting.
Two men were found injured. While on the way to Lakeland Hospital for treatment, both men died. The two victims were identified as 22-year-old Cortez Miller and 29-year-old Michael Johnson.
The suspect involved in the incident is 40-year-old Antwan Tamon "Tank" Mims. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
Police believe Mims is attempting to flee the area and possibly head to Indianapolis. Officers, along with Michigan State Police, the sheriff's department and FBI are actively seeking Mims and warrants are pending.
Anyone with any information is being asked to contact the tip line at 269-927-0293 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-342-STOP (7867). There is currently up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to Mims arrest.
