OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — A Muskegon man suspected of breaking into multiple storage unit facilities in Ottawa County has been arrested.
The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office said they arrested a 38-year-old man Thursday morning on several unrelated warrants. They believe the man is linked to more than one dozen burglaries in Ottawa County and the surrounding areas.
Law enforcement said that after arresting the man, they found a large amount of stolen property at a home in Muskegon. They believe the stolen property is worth over $15,000. They are working to find the victims and return their property.
Deputies took the man to the Ottawa County Jail where he was booked. He's not yet been formally charged as he awaits arraignment.
Authorities are not sharing his identity until he faces formal charges.
