GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids Police have a man in custody after two hit-and-run crashes Wednesday evening.
The first crash occurred outside of the Flamingo Lounge, located at 930 Bridge Street. A man driving a Dodge Durango struck people on foot outside of the bar.
Police said there was at least one person injured. However, they said injuries were minor.
The driver of the Durango fled the scene of the crash. He then ended up in another crash in the area of Walker Avenue. He fled the scene of that crash on foot.
After spending some time searching for the suspect, police said they found him and he was in custody.
