PARCHMENT, Mich. — Two teens were arrested early Sunday morning after an assault and armed robbery.
Around midnight, Township of Kalamazoo Police Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery in the 1900 block of E G Avenue.
When officers arrived, the two teen victims told them that two people assaulted them, pointed a gun at them and stole from them.
Officers said they found the two teen suspects after further investigation and located the stolen property, along with a semi-automatic rifle.
Both of the suspects were arrested and are being held at the Kalamazoo County Juvenile Detention Center, officers said.
This case remains under investigation.
