WYOMING, Mich. — Police are warning Wyoming residents about a scam alert impacting residents.
According to a post on Facebook by the City of Wyoming, a group of people posing as city employees or offering home repair services are being let into homes and stealing from residents.
Wyoming officials said any city employees can be identified by city-issued photo identification and vehicles.
If you have questions about a city employee entering your home, call (616) 530-7262. If you didn't schedule home repair services, don't let an unsolicited contractor into your home.
