GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Friday is the last day of school for students and teachers in the Grand Rapids Public School district. For one member of the GRPS team, this school year's ending is especially bittersweet.
GRPS Superintendent Teresa Weatherall Neal will retire in about one month. Her career with the district spans decades. Her positive impact on the students, teachers, and staff who comprise it will be felt for much longer.
