GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A new dental center is now open for walk-in urgent care in Grand Rapids' Belknap neighborhood.
The Belknap Commons Dental Center officially opens Thursday. It offers only walk-ins on a first-come, first-served basis for those needing care for urgent, unplanned dental issues.
“The goal of Belknap Commons Dental Center is to see patients with unplanned urgent care needs instead of having them wait to see if availability opens between pre-scheduled appointments at our other health centers,” said Dr. Bryan Wazbinski, DDS, Director of Dental Clinical Services at Cherry Health. “This dedicated site will help us streamline and provide treatment for the daily emergent dental needs that arise in our community.”
As part of Cherry Health, the Belknap Commons Dental Center aims to meet the need for urgent dental care in Grand Rapids.
The center will serve anyone, not just Cherry Health patients. Most forms of insurance are accepted. For those without insurance, a sliding fee payment scale is available.
Renovations on the new center began in August 2023.
The Belknap Commons Dental Center is located at 751 Lafayette Avenue NE and is open only for walk-ins from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
