GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — West Michigan health care providers are urging the community to give blood during this holiday season.
Corewell Health in partnership with Versiti Blood Center of Michigan are encouraging residents to come out to one of seven community blood drives this December.
“Fewer people donate blood in winter months due to the busy holiday season, poor weather conditions and seasonal illness,” said Nick Rambow, interim vice president, Corewell Health Laboratory. “Blood donations are important for our patients all year long. We hope that the community will help by scheduling an appointment today.”
You can find a complete list of dates, times and locations to give blood at on of the community blood drives below.
