Spectrum Health is joining forces with a health care network that serves southwestern Michigan.
Officials with Spectrum and Lakeland Health say they see the value of coming together to focus on high quality care and improving the health of communities in West Michigan.
Lakeland Health already partners with the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital and also has partnered with Spectrum for specialty services, including cardiovascular care.
The agreement is expected to be finalized by October.
