KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. — The Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office is investigating a crash that killed two people on Saturday night.
Around 7:40 p.m. deputies responded to a crash at the intersection of S Sprinkle Road and E S Avenue in Pavilion Township.
An SUV traveling eastbound on E S Avenue did not stop at a stop sign and was hit by a truck traveling northbound on S Sprinkle Road, according to deputies.
Both occupants of the SUV were killed. They have been identified as 88-year-old Harold Vlietstra and 91-year-old Mary Vlietstra.
This crash remains under investigation.
