Allegan County man facing 33 felony charges for criminal sexual conduct, aggravated child sexual material

An Allegan Co. man has been arraigned in the 57th District Court in Allegan on felony charges for allegedly uploading and receiving child sexually abusive material.

ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. — A Lee Township man has been arraigned in the 57th District Court in Allegan on felony charges for allegedly uploading and receiving child sexually abusive material. 

According to the Allegan County Sheriff's Office, 33-year-old Casey Allen Letts was arraigned on Sept. 10 and is facing 33 felony charges. These charges include criminal sexual conduct, aggravated child sexual material and using a computer to commit a crime.

On April 16, the Michigan State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) about a person actively uploading and receiving child sexually abusive material. 

The information was turned over to the ACSO's ICAC affiliate for investigation. Throughout the investigation, evidence collected identified the subject as Letts.
