COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. — A Comstock Park man is behind bars after an investigation revealed a multitude of sexual crimes related to children, the Michigan State Police say.
Jose Montoya, 60, was arrested on charges of criminal sexual conduct in the second degree, aggravated child sexually abusive activity, aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime.
Police first learned of Montoya when he downloaded, viewed and uploaded material showing children being sexually abused.
A search of his home ended with police seizing digital evidence.
Montoya was arraigned in the 63rd District Court on Feb. 16. He faces up to 70 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
