GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A man is in critical condition after a shooting on the northwest side of Grand Rapids early Sunday morning, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.
GRPD said around 2 a.m. officers responded to reports of the sound of gunfire in the 700 block of McReynolds Avenue NW.
Police said they found evidence of a shooting, but there were no victims on the scene.
Shortly after, police were told a man with gunshot wounds arrived at a local hospital. GRPD was told he's in critical condition.
GRPD's Major Case Team is investigating the incident.
