KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich — A months-long search has concluded in Oshtemo Township where the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team (KVET) found and arrested a Kalamazoo man and seized drugs from his residence.
According to KVET, on Thursday officers executed a warrant around the 1300 block of Concord Place. Officers said the investigation began when they received information from tipsters about a 55-year-old man selling heroin/fentanyl.
The man was identified and officers discovered he was on federal probation with a warrant for violating his conditions.
Officers said the warrant was the conclusion of their months-long search for where he lived.
The man was apprehended outside of his home and taken into custody on his warrant. Officers said additional charges will also be submitted against him.
Officers searched the home and found delivery amounts of heroin/fentanyl, crystal methamphetamines and cocaine.
