PORTAGE, Mich. — The Portage Department of Public Safety responded to the 4200 block of Long Lake Drive on Saturday at 4:20 p.m. after a pedestrian contacted them about seeing a dead man lying in the ditch adjacent to the road.
Officials are now identifying the man as 47-year-old Daleian Norris of Kalamazoo. Detectives are currently working to notify his family.
The department says the case is under investigation and an autopsy is being conducted to determine the cause of death.
