NEWAYGO COUNTY, Mich. — The Newaygo County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that took place in Everett Township early Saturday morning.
According to deputies, around 9:40 a.m. they were dispatched to the 1900 block of S. Walnut Avenue for a shots fired complaint.
Deputies said an initial investigation shows several men at the house got into a fight, which led to shots being fired.
A 35-year-old man from White Cloud was arrested and charged with felonious assault and felony firearms, deputies said.
The man is being held in the Newaygo County Jail pending arraignment.
