NEWAYGO COUNTY, Mich. — A woman is dead after a crash in Newaygo County on M-82 Friday morning.
The Michigan State Police (MSP) say that a 63-year-old woman from Sparta was pronounced dead on the scene after turning into the path of a semi-truck heading eastbound.
The crash happened Friday morning on M-82, near the intersection of Spruce Avenue.
MSP is investigating the crash and the roadway was closed for several hours.
