GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A 15-year-old boy killed in a Grand Rapids shooting has been identified by police. His death has been ruled a homicide.
Amillier Penn, 15, was playing football with his friends in the 400 block of Umatilla Street SE around 8:10 p.m. Sunday.
Penn was shot by an unknown suspect. He was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy completed Wednesday ruled that death a murder.
