18-year-old reported missing from Kentwood found safe

Police say Zander Williams was found safe in Kentwood around 7 a.m. He has been reunited with his family.

KENTWOOD, Mich. — UPDATE 7:35 A.M.: Police say Zander Williams was found safe in Kentwood around 7 a.m. Thursday. He has been reunited with his family.

ORIGINAL STORY:

The Kentwood Police Department is searching for a missing teen and is asking for the public's help.

Zander Williams, 18, has been reported missing from the 1400 block of 52nd Street SE. He was last seen around 11:20 p.m. Wednesday and is believed to have walked away on foot.

Zander is described as being 5'8" tall with brown hair and glasses. He was wearing black pants, a black sweatshirt and blue shoes.

Police say Zander has developmental disabilities and is currently without his medications.
