MONTCALM COUNTY, Mich — A car crashed into the back of a school bus Friday morning in the Greenville area, causing injuries, Michigan State Police say.
Officers say the crash happened at 6:58 a.m. on County Farm Road near Backus.
A 19-year-old woman from Lyons was traveling west on County Farm when she hit the back of the bus. She was taken to the hospital with injuries.
No students on the bus were injured, police say.
They were loaded onto another bus and taken to school in the Greenville Public Schools district.
The crash is still under investigation, but speed and distracted driving may be factors, police say.
